Lying in Ponds has been offline for a few months because I had needed to upgrade to a new version of WordPress to fend off hackers, but just didn’t have the time to work on it. I finally got around to the upgrade, so that’s good, but I’ve fallen far behind in evaluating columns. I don’t see a chance for any unexpected free time in the next few months, so I may have to give up on this year’s rankings and start fresh in 2009.
