Malkin-Steyn
It’s early in the year but the top of the Democratic partisanship rankings already look stable and predictable, as they’ve been for several years. But the Republican list is a different matter. Michelle Malkin is strangely leading, after six columns without a single contrary reference (positive Democratic or negative Republican). That probably won’t last, as Ms. Malkin criticized the Bush administration enough last year (mostly on Homeland Security and immigration issues) to keep her in the middle of the Republican partisanship list.
Last year’s Republican partisanship king Mark Steyn’s score is quite a bit lower this year, but that also is not likely to last. He already has built up a record of 46 negative Democratic references to 0 positive this year, but a series of columns on the Middle East is temporarily masking his obvious partisanship.
